I have all kinds of new love for the Seventh Doctor.  

I just hope it's true.  I don't know how in heck dear Rusty and Co. would pull it off, but please, BBC gods, make it true!!

In other news, I had a totally crack dream the other night that was a Doctor Who / Buffy crossover in which Xander killed the Doctor in order to save the world.  

AAAAAAAAAAGGHH!   Part of me had hoped this day would never come.  Now I don't know how I'm going to wait two weeks for this.  The suspense!  Eek!  But how in the name of Omega and Rassilon's frilly knickers are they going to explain it??  *Squees shamelessly for a vintage flashback* More than likely, they'll keep it short and vague and relatively w**k-free, as is RTD's general style (and really the best way to go, IMO), but the anorak in me is doing agitated backflips of anticipation.
