I am so freakin' close to finishing "Fission" I can freakin' taste it!   I kept sort of putting off the next section because there's a lot of "who goes there, and who goes here" and it was feeling like a laundry list of "stuff that's got to happen!" and really starting to get me down.  I was especially dreading the jaunt through the Doctor's mind because I'd already done it once, and I don't like writing that kind of stuff for some reason.  To taxing on the creativity, maybe?  Either way, I was thinking about ditching it altogether, when suddenly, like Shakespeare under the influence of the Carrion Knights, I suddenly just started typing and the next thing I knew, I had this pretty darn satisfying mind jaunt all typed out and done!  I think it all makes sense and works!  And I am 95% sure that I can definitely wrap it all up in two more posts and be done with it.  Wow.  I'm getting chills just thinking what it's going to feel like to finish.  I haven't finished anything this big...well, ever, really.

Of course, once "Fission" is done, I'll have to do some revisions to get it ready for consumption over at Teaspoon.

Then there's "The Six Doctors."  Oh, that bloody "Six Doctors!"  Not only have I had to deal with finding out that I unknowingly stole my plot from a rejected Holmes script, but I just found out today that Benny Summerfield is an archaeologist, the same as my OC.  And I have never read one book or listened to one audio about Benny Summerfield.  Never even saw so much as a character outline.  Is my mind really that derivitive?  Or have Doctor Who writers merely found a way to read my mind from the past, thus making it appear as though I've stolen their ideas, when in fact they've been profiting off of mine for the past twenty years with their blatant abuse of time travel?  I'm thinking it's the latter.  *Devilish grin*

On a little sidebar, while my Sylvester Stallone obsession has ebbed to a tolerable level, I'm now suffering from a bout of Anthony Ainley Master!squee.  Gawd, that goatee of his is sexy.  And that silky, rumbly voice! *shivers*

No wonder I'm currently brainstorming a sequel to "Fission" that focuses entirely on the character.  (Sort of).  *Wanders off to stare at her hawt Master icon*
