Dream log.
I had one helluva weird dream sequence this morning. It started out where I was at this big ball, but it was clearly down South, like during "Gone with the Wind," and instead of dancing, I was just roaming around, people watching, and saw Patrick Stewart and DeForrest Kelley schmoozing with the ladies. They were both dressed in very dapper suits complete with silky cravats. I remember being surprised to see Kelley, actually thinking to myself, "Wait, isn't he dead?"
Then, the whole thing shifted to some kind of weird, sci-fi version of Noah's Ark. There was a giant pool in the center of the ark where the people were keeping some kind of sea monster (I want to say it was a whale, but if so, it was the scariest, strangest-looking whale I've ever seen). I wasn't actually invovled in the action, instead it was like a movie, and I was the camera. The action centered on two women, one of whom kept getting visions of things that were going to happen, as if the whole flood and boat thing were only being revealed in nearsighted bits. For instance, even though it was already storming and flooding, the non-psychic woman was commenting that they didn't have all the animals on board yet. The woman getting the visions claimed that the boat was going to make several more stops, floating across the world as the water rose, collecting animals as they went. Then, the thing in the pool reared up out of the water. It was green, had bulging eyes and HUGE fangs, and roared. Freaked, I woke up.
