President Barack H. Obama! (And I fail at technology)

Well, it's done.  He's president for real.  My favorite part had to be when Justice Roberts and Obama screwed up the oath.  It's the Oath of Office!  How do you mess that up?  According to the talking heads on CBS, Roberts was winging it without notes, but I think Obama might have jumped in too early, besides.  Oh well!  Nice to see they're both just normal guys.

Speaking of winging it, being the posterity-minded citizen that I am, I tried to tape the whole thing on a pair of VHS tapes, only to discover at the end that I didn't set it up right.  So now I have three hours of static to remember the occasion by.  *facepalm* 

Omg, I'm watching NBC now and Al Roker is talking about whether Obama will find him attractive.  Wtf?

Anyway, good luck, Mr. President.

(And I just know Bush was doing internal handstands of joy at getting the heck out of there.  I wonder what he put in that note in the desk?)

I was also amused that they flubbed the oath. I think what happened was that Obama jumped in too early with his first line, and he threw Roberts off, who then fed him the next words out of order. I thought at one point they were going to start over!
