I voted!
Yes, I did my civic duty.
For all the good it'll do, seeing as I'm registered Republican [gasp!]. And just because I didn't want the Democrats having all the fun, I voted for Ron Paul. Actually, I put a little more thought into it than that. I spent about an hour this morning at ontheissues.org comparing voting records, and decided Paul was the more dramatic choice. Funny how Obama's campaign has been trumpeting change all these months when Paul is even more way out there than Barack would ever dream of. It turns out there were a lot of other positions needing filled, too, that I was completely unaware of, so standing in the booth was a bit like showing up to a test I hadn't prepared for. Oh well.
